ENDURO de CHICO

A six-hour race for slot car fanatics on two challenging tracks in the beautiful Sacramento River Valley town of Chico, California. 

DATE:  Saturday April 20, 2002   Tech at 11:30 AM Race starts at 12:00

ENTRIES:   Limited to 20 teams - 10 two-man teams expert/advanced, 10 two-man teams of intermediate/novice drivers.  Driver's classifications will be determined by the race director at the time of entry. 

ENTRY FEE: $25/team 

RACE: Sixteen 22-1/2 minute heats/team.  1 minute between heats. 1/2 hour break after 8th heat. Expert/Advance teams will start on the 125' road course, Intermediate/Novice teams will start on the 135' Hillclimb. All maintenance and repairs must be performed under green flag conditions.  Four surprise tech inspections will be conducted during the race.

CARS:   Super Wasp/Hornet C Can motors, 4" Flexi chassis w/ JK LMP (Le Mans prototype) bodies.  3/32" dia. rear axles, any pitch gears, .062" clearance

Concourse: 
1st Expert/Advanced 
1st Intermediate/Novice 

Race Winners: 
Expert/Advance: 1st, 2nd & 3rd
Intermediate/Novice: 1st, 2nd & 3rd

There will be a no host reception and drivers "dinner meeting" at the world famous Sierra Nevada Brewery Pub Friday April 19, 2002 5:00 PM. The Clubhouse will be open for practice Friday the 19th from 8:00 AM - 5:00 and from 7:00 to 11:00 PM.  Please RSVP for reception.
